6:20 pm - Wake up. The night went very badly, and the temperature of the heat these days have reached peak unbearable, making sleep impossible. 6:50 pm - Departure. Sets the navigator p er "Castelluccio di Norcia" leg we decide to follow the route along the coast. After a brief and stop at Baraccola to Ancona for lunch and refueling, we go to Porto Recanati, and the highway leading to Foligno, take the last exit before the recent stretch, we pass for cows and then we enter mo in final 'Apennines. Life spent and finally begin the road winding across which, once reached the top, opens us to the vision of Castelluccio di No RCIA with all the famous flat around, surrounded in the distance with all the mountains of the Sibillini National Park, the border between the Marche and Umbria. Once in Castelluccio ask a couple of information to reach our first destination: Forca of a loan.
9:30 am - We arrive at Forca di Presta, and we stop at the beginning of s entier that leads to the top of the Monte Vettore, where among other things is the refuge of the Alpine . We start the climb. The trail is not very difficult know, alternating flat share, or at least a little steep, at times a bit more labored Oltos, but never c
subsequently tiring. The day created is warm and sunny (we are around 23-25 \u200b\u200b° C) but mol to windy with dry air (not sure what is in my house) . The vegetation there around and is devoid of trees, but there is only low vegetation know ... and many insects. The most hard for the top is what leads to the hut Zilioli Tito (2238 meters high, just over 200 meters below the summit) with very steep and slippery.
11:10 pm - Arrive at the refuge Tito Zilioli. This is a re fugio without electricity, gas and water, fo r format of 2 rooms (of which only one available), used mainly as a shelter for the night. D to them at 20 yards you come to a small flat area, from which some ssibile admire the circular arc forming the various peaks of Monte Vettore. Looking towards Castle pike can am aim the top of the Redeemer (in Umbria, 2448 meters), opposite the top true of the mountain (in the Marche region, 2476 meters, the highest peak of the Monti Sibillini). Between the two peaks, one can see the cirque in which there are Lakes Pilate. We stop a moment to rest and quench our thirst. The nos half are between the Lakes of Pilate (the summit is reached by a path p is not difficult to ercorrere, but we do not care).

12:45 pm - Arrive at the starting point. The d iscesa was definitely sweeter. We rest for a moment, then we head for Caste lluccio of Norcia to eat. After about 15 minutes we arrive on site. After an initial mishap with one of the restaurants in the area (where more than 40 minutes waiting for the maid who comes to ede rci orders) local change and head in another. Despite the rise (the highest in the downtown area, surrounded by mountains) the heat is felt. The weather on the other hand gave as hottest day of the period. We are saved only by the near absence of moisture.
14:45 pm - We leave home at a time. While too, cause injury, our trek was reduced. After about 2 hours back, ritrovan do the heat and humidity that we had happily left behind the morning.
