Indeed, the European Court of Human Rights has today upheld an appeal by the Italian government against the ruling of 3 November 2009 issued by the stipendiary of Strasbourg Case - Lautsi v. Italy (application no. 30814/06), which required it to remove the cross from the classrooms, reopening in fact the important issue of "secularism", a theme that will score more and more the relationship between citizens and state and between nation and supranational bodies!.
The appeal will be discussed before the Grand Chamber in two months, which at the end of the discussion will decide on the matter.
